LAW OF JILUK 3: END OF THE QUEST

Hey readers,

So here I am with the last book of the trilogy Law of Jiluk. So, as you know or might not know that I read the last two parts and there is a blog about that, search jiluk on the blog and you'll find the link.

This book named Law of Jiluk 3 was highly anticipated by me and I don’t know how I held myself from emailing the writer to tell me more about the book and the back story. Maybe I didn’t want to ruin my experience of the story itself or it was just the thought of not disturbing someone for my curiosity. Now, I'm grateful for not being an impatient person for the sake of my curiosity.

THE WRITER

Let's talk about the writer first... he says that he is a dreamer, a lover and a not so famous or bestselling writer. The prologue is full of what he is not and I love the way he turned everything into the dirt by claiming something that a very few brave souls can claim to be. Being a dreamer and accepting it is a huge thing for the people belonging to the Indian subcontinent.

STORY

The story altogether is so much more than just the first love. If I would categorize it, it’ll go in the friendship stack. Its such a nice portrait of friendship. There was one thing that caught my heart the most, the part about letters. I honestly love writing letters, its a better way to communicate if you ask me to. I write letters to my best friend not very often but I do write a lot to him. The letters hold a lot more than mere words, and I love that.

The story continues in this book and is good at holding the interest and the thirst for the meaning of this “JILUK”. The moment I finished reading I was unusually satisfied with the answer I extracted from the book.

WRITE-UP

The write up was so mature, that I can say that this was the best young Indian writers’ content I've read till this moment of my life. I've read a lot of young Indian writers and none can match the analogy this book has and the perfectly timed memory drifts. It's amazing in a way that I can’t express. You’ll need to free your mind before starting this book you can’t read it like other young Indian writers book.

REFLECTIONS

Honestly, overall the story is highly relatable with each one of us. We've been through all the moments that the protagonist is going through but the experience is something that’ll take you back to your teenage and leave you with your nostalgic memories. The school memories will crowd your mind and you'll be compelled to put the book down and call your long distance friends. I talked to my best friend for hours that night.

I would also like to tell you one thing this book will make you travel to the army Baracks and the army family residential areas of Wellington, Tamil Nadu, India. It was so beautiful with the Nilgiris around that it took my breath away.

I'll recommend you to read all of the books from this series because each one of these books contains our memories from the school.
