Pyjamas are forgiving

Hmm. So where should I start from? Tell me in the comments if you have read this book?

Okay, Twinkle Khanna is one of my favorite columnists of all time, her writing is amazing and I love reading her pieces. Her book "The Lengend of Lakshmi Prasad" was so good, all the three stories it had were inspiring. So, when this book came out I wanted to read it right away but couldn't. So, now when I'm done reading about it, I want to let you guys know that it is a story of a woman, I fell in love with. This lady, Anshu, is a truly empowered woman in my view.

You know there are some stories which are extremely sad and you can't help but cry all along the story. This could have been one, but the Twinkle Khanna factor can change everything into a fun and wit full story (the reason I love reading her). So, it's a story that'll make you wonder if the women are so mentally fragile and some women may even agree with that. So, it's true for a lot of women and girls that they get manipulated very easily. You know what they say about women thinking with the heart more than brain (or it's just me?).

Anshu, the protagonist finds herself in an awkward situation in the health retreat centre when she encounters someone very unexpected and things start changing for her along with her health.

Half of the women empowerment will be done the day one woman stands for another woman without thinking about her loved ones. This reminds me of the long chat I had with my best friend once where he stated that “jis din aurat apne pati aur bacche k baare me sochna band karke sahi faisle legi, uss din aurat sashakt hogi.” Translation- “the day a woman stops worrying about her husband and her child and starts standing for right thing with no bias, that day women will be empowered.” I don't want to rant about the women empowerment and stuff because I've partly seen how women don't want another woman ahead of her or accusing the wrong things. So I'll just leave it there.
It's highly recommended to read this book. I loved the story and the little sarcastic comments here and there will make you smile and burst out laughing. If you read it let me know how you like it in the comments or you can DM me on Instagram @bibliophilewild
