She Met Life: Shweta Maheshwari

I would rate this a 3/5.
I have read a number of good motivational and self-help books which are categorised as fiction. This one is categorised as fiction too. Why a 3 and not more or less? Read ahead.

About the Author:

Shweta Maheshwari is a trainer, speaker, writer and life coach. She is a member of the Toastmasters International Club too.

About the Story:

It is about a woman named Sophia, she has a perfect life. Capable of balancing work, family and marital life. Her husband Sameer is portrayed as the perfect man. Preeti is Sophias' friend who is also the narrator of first half of the story.
The write-up was like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum by Karan Johar. I feel it would have been a lot more interesting in Hindi. The second half is narrated by Sophia herself, which is mostly about how the life coach helped her see her life in a different perspective. It's like a casual talk between two friends about some incident in detail.
Sophia is a always happy and witty person. She has a smile that makes people happy. She is the magic to everyones life, life somehow hits her and she shatters but gathers herself to a more happy and amazing person. The goal of the story was to help readers in their own life. The difference between this book and other self-help books I've read is that this has drama for the half and straight "help" for the next half and again drama at the end.

About the Book:

It is published by Falcon publishing house. I will be honest and tell you that there were some mistakes here and there. I talked with the author and she told me that she is already working on it. I trust these kinds of writers who accepts and tells the truth, it shows how much they care about their readers.
I would recommend this book to those who want to read casual fiction with an easy plot.
